Awards Night 2017

Topic: San Diego County Achievement Awards Night. 

On Saturday October 21st, members of our Olivenhain Valley 4-H Club attended San Diego County Achievement Awards Night. The event started at 6:30 and everyone gathered to their seats. The night began with a meal that was kindly provided by the chef of the Del Mar Fairgrounds. After eating, the adult volunteers conducted a raffle drawing from donated items from various 4-H Clubs. Throughout the evening, Paulett Sullen, a retired 4-H leader, was awarded certificates of recognition for outstanding achievements, outstanding volunteerism, and a long time of dedication of over 25 years by Senator Joel Anderson. Local 4-H members were also honored for the record book keeping 2016-2017 contest. We had a fun time, and look forward to going again next year.
