Vet Science- Advanced 

Vet Science- Advanced for Large Animals/Livestock   Ages 12 and up  Serious learning about things you can do before you call the vet and what to measure before you call him. Advancing knowledge of diseases, giving shots, taking important vitals such as temperature, what is a normal temp for different livestock (includes pigs, goats, sheep, even horses), what medications require veterinary prescriptions, birthing difficulties, what to do when a goat scours or bloats, the birth and reproduction process, and more. We may attend clinics put on by goat clubs or breeders out of town or in more remote parts of our county. Tentatively meeting last Saturday of each month at Noon September through May, except November & December (subject to change).
