Animal Husbandry: On the Farm Ages 10 & up Work as a farm hand at Cindy Lu’s Zoo farm, a mini farm in Olivenhain with llamas, goats, sheep, rabbits, ducks, chickens, turkeys, pigs, etc. Learn how to do real chores to care for the animals like milk, vaccinate, trim hooves, worm, groom, bathe, etc. And learn to do real farm work like scooping, scrubbing, feeding, mucking, and raking. Sometimes we get the animals washed and ready for going off to do a petting zoo. This can also be a makeup for missed animal project meetings. Meetings: usually one Saturday morning and one Sunday noon each month.
